V8 Electrodynamic Shaker – Rated for Force Levels up to 66 kN (14800 lbf). The V8 vibration test system offers the highest achievable envelope of vibration test parameters for an electrodynamic shaker, ensuring maximum displacement, velocity and force are all available together, thus maximising test equipment usage. The large 640 mm diameter armature and lightweight ‘high g’ 440 mm armature both provide an optimal combination of strength, low mass and dynamic performance.

V830 and V850 Electrodynamic Shakers
V830 & V850 Electrodynamic Shakers – Rated for Force Levels From 8.9 to 22.2 kN (2000 – 5000 lbf)
These air-cooled Electrodynamic shakers are designed for the vibration testing of medium-sized payloads such as automotive components and other types of electronics assemblies up to 600 kg. They can be used in combination with LDS’ SPA16K and SPA32K amplifiers to provide vibration test systems for sine, random and transient testing.
Interchangeable lightweight armatures offer a cost-effective solution to high-performance testing and our larger diameter lightweight armatures provide excellent overturning restraint for large or multiple payloads on the vibration table.
The smaller diameter versions are suitable for high ‘g’ vibration control applications. Compatible with AGREE norms, LDS V800 series models can be integrated with other environmental test equipment, such as thermal and humidity chambers.
Our active suspension system eliminates the need for resilient mountings and improves reliability at low frequencies. A unique infra-red system allows accurate control of the armature position in both vertical and horizontal operation, crucial for high quality shock testing where the armature must be offset.
LDS Lin-E-Air body isolation for the vibration table ensures excellent stability at low frequencies. Guidance shafts eliminate the tendency to rock while testing large or offset payloads when doing vibration control at low frequency.

LDS V875 Electrodynamic Shakers provides all the performance and levels of safety demanded of vibration test equipment but offers low installation and running costs for use in research and development, product qualification, stress screening and reliability test applications.
The V875B and V875T are base or trunnion mounted electrodynamic shakers used for sine, random and transient vibration testing, used in conjunction with an LDS SPA40K amplifier.

V875LS Vibration Test System
A new 76.2mm-displacement Vibration Test System, further pushing the boundaries available to the vibration test engineer has been introduced by LDS.
Designed in response to customers needs, the V875LS is the only shaker in the 35.6kN force range with 76.2mm displacement and a large 640mm diameter mounting table, suitable for large payloads, package testing, and shock testing applications.
The V875LS system comprises a 76.2mm-displacement shaker with either a 440mm or 640mm diameter armature, and LPT and HBT combos with slip tables ranging in size from sizes of 600 x 600mm, to 1220 x 1220mm – all with 76.2mm stroke.
The 440mm armature can be inter-changed with the 640mm armature, giving you unrivalled flexibility.
Options available with the system include head expanders, thermal barriers to ensure compatibility with AGREE and CERT standard thermal chambers, and airglide mobility.
Customers can now run low frequency tests (1Hz) on the V875LS that were previously only possible using hydraulic test systems.
